Wii System Menu v912 Downgrade Disc

The Wii System Menu v912 Downgrade Disc can be used to downgrade your system menu to firmware version 3.2 from the disc channel or via the system menu recovery mode. The purpose of the disc is to offer brick recovery options to users who are on the latest system menu and only have access to recovery mode.
If you have Bootmii installed as boot2 or have access to Priiloader, it is recommended that you use one of those to recover from your brick. The most likely case this disc is needed is to repair the Dop-IOS bug which is a bug found in early versions of Dop-Mii. The bug causes all your channels including the disc channel to reset the Wii. Since system menu 4.3 disables bannerbomb, and renders your disc channel useless, it makes it impossible to load any Homebrew apps which are needed for recovery.

The System Menu v912 Downgrade disc allows you do downgrade your system menu by tricking the Wii into thinking a new system menu is available on the disc. The upgrade actually installs System Menu 3.2 which is a downgraded menu containing the BannerBomb exploit. Since the new menu can now be BannerBombed it can now be repaired by running the newer Dop-Mii Homebrew App and choosing to run a system check. The system check fixes the bug and you Wii will be good as new.

Keep in mind you will need to have a trucha patched and dip patched system menu IOS or a trucha patched IOS and modchip for this disc to work. If you followed the Softmod Any Wii guide on our site you have dip patched IOS so this disc will work.
